About: Thinking Green! – A logo design representing the environmental initiatives of the Town of East Gwillimbury.
Design Brief: When the Town of East Gwillimbury contacted The Logo Factory, it was not to have a logo designed for the town, but rather the Town of East Gwillimbury was looking to have another logo designed in order to have their environmental initiatives represented. The Town of East Gwillimbury had hoped that this logo would convey that the town was environmentally conscious. The Town of East Gwillimbury entitled this initiative ‘Thinking Green!’ and intended to place the logo for Thinking Green next to the town’s logo on their website.
The Town of East Gwillimbury did not have any major requests for this project. They wanted a design that was more focused around the typography. And, they had wanted the colors used in the logo to be earthy – preferably blue and green… similar to the colors pre-existing in the East Gwillimbury logo. The Thinking Green logo can be seen on the Town of East Gwillimbury’s site.
