Viking logo – Voce! Artists Theater Arts & Entertainment Management.
In some design projects, the client brief is helpfully explicit in what they are looking for in terms of a new logo. The design brief for the Voce! logo was no different. “The word “Voce” means Voice in Italian and we specialize in the development management of the careers of singers with larger (more dramatic) voices. That is why we use an “!” (exclamation point) at the end of Voce… we tend to think of as Voices that are larger than life! The major emphasis of the name and the logo should be the Voce! in the company name. The logo needs to appeal not only to a young audience (25-35) but also to more established theatrical and performing arts professionals. However, the primary focus is on the first group. We truly dislike the dark colors and ultraconservative designs used by our competitors. When you look at their websites and printed design information it does not “jump” at you, but looks flat dull. Some of the words we would use to describe the kind of logo design we are looking for are: Bold, bright, colorful, modern, stylish, dynamic and Funky. We are dealing with Opera Companies, Classical record labels and other professionals in that field. Just because it is Opera, does not mean it has to be boring or flat.” This information was enough for our designers to create the logo featured above. Mission accomplished? We think so. IInset Design 2 – Classical Music Survey (Music Software). A nicely designed conductor ‘pictogram’ rounds off this elegantly simple logo design for Classical Music Survey – a music cataloging service that focuses on classical performances. The duotone blue adds a dimension of calm and elegance which (hopefully) completes the design picture of a high-end, reliable service. A less more subdued than our usual entertainment logos.
