Travel Logo – One Stop Safari.

While One Stop Safari isn’t technically a travel agency, their logo fit perfectly into this category of our logo design gallery. After all, if you were creating a logo about travel, especially to Africa, this is the kind of logo you would come up with. One Stop Safari is actually a Botswana (Africa) based exporter (and importer in the US) of high-quality gifts and home furnishings from artisans in Africa. Their presence in Botswana puts the company in the perfect location to scour southern Africa for truly unique merchandise. When the company wanted to expand their marketing, they came to The Logo Factory for a new company logo design. The resulting design is a friendly illustrative treatment of some typically African animals, birds and scenery. The subtle variation of the obscure, semi hand drawn fonts, further the impression of an exotic land, while the earth tone coloring fits in perfect with the company’s motif, which was later turned into a fairly effective stationery design package. So, while this is TECHNICALLY not a travel agency logo, it is for a company based in Botswana, and we thought the logo fit very well on this travel industry page. And that, as they say, is our story.

When creating a logo for a cruise or travel company, a designer has to take into consideration the type of clientele the travel agency is trying to appeal to – teenage, 20-something, married with kids, etc. Once this has been established, the logo design created can be tailored to fit the particular project. Each appeal to a different market, and both are perfectly viable designs.
