Consultant logo – Click 4 Systems Online Business consulting

Behind the Design Scenes: Sometimes a more refined, simplistic approach is a more effective approach to a new business logo. Such was the case for Click 4 Systems, a logo that our designers created back in 2000. It was the heyday of the internet, and almost every business that had even a remote connection to a web site wanted some variation of the ‘globe and swoosh‘ logo. This visual fad had a high fatigue factor and TLF staff tried relentlessly to offer various design alternatives (often to no avail).

That’s not to say hi-tech or web-related logos can’t have some visual reference to the internet (as in the cursor arrow in this logo), but it’s always better to stay away from visual fads – they have a limited shelf life and you’ll probably be changing your logo once the fad has been exhausted. Click 4 Systems used a number 4 in their name, so our designers played up on that, with a simple blocky font that drove the point home. As mentioned earlier, a cursor selection arrow was added to the design, along with a ‘button’ that further identified the company as a computer centric business.
