The Aquamaxx product line consists of high-end landscaping natural chemicals and formulations. To develop a memorable identity, our designers developed a less-than-orthadox logo that represented the liquid nature of all the Aquamax products, rather than use more traditional lawn and shrubbery graphics. The bold icon allowed us to create a rather dramatic presentation folder that utilizes all the printable surfaces including the internal business card pockets. Despite its visual complexity, the pocket folder for Aquamaxx remains two spot colors, comparatively reasonable when it comes to printing costs. The presentation folder for All-Star Security is a similar example of spot color reproduction and full edge-to-edge use of the printable surface. It's important to keep in mind that any time artwork bleeds off the edge of a printed sheet, there can be expense involved - the printer has to use over-sized sheets and then trim them back using designer supplied die-lines.
