Shaped Reality Product Design Flash Animation: When this logo was originally designed (you can read about it here) our designers didn't actually use 3D rendering software to create this icon but rather developed it in Adobe Illustrator. What this means is that the logo was actually a 'true' cube, but rather an illustration that featured some perspective distortion. When it came to developing a 'true' 3D model, our designers had to develop the main icon from scratch in Swift 3D before importing the resultant animation into Flash where the final movie was assembled with the 'shimmering' font work and industrial music as featured here. Despite the animation's relative complexity, the file size remains fairly small and suitable for most web applications. As the components of this movie were developed as vector-based models, the animation can be scaled to any size without image degradation.
