Your preliminary designs are available within 24 hours of your job submission, and your finalized logo is shipped with everything you’ll need for your corporate identity; logo files, stationery design package, Flash Logo Lick animation, ‘Beauty Shot’ design, and a 2.5 hour credit ($195.00 value) that can be utilized towards any other design project with The Logo Factory. For clients who don’t have the luxury of waiting for their logo. With our Platinum Logo Design Bundle, our design team gets the green light to able to concentrate specifically on your project, regardless of the studio time required, in order that your preliminary designs are available in 24 hours.

Includes Flash logo animation, stationery design & more!

Your logo design will take place on our ‘client only’ Factory Floor, a limited access section that allows clients to work remotely with TLF designers, revising and editing your preliminaries until you are ultimately satisfied with your logo. Once you have ‘signed-off’ on a finalized logo, your FULL file format bundle will be prepped for print, web and other uses and your logo file formats will be available for download from your Factory Floor page – you can start using your new logo right away. Our designers will then begin development of the stationery (letterhead, up to 4 business cards and envelope) and Flash Logo Lick animation portion of your project. Once we’ve completed all the design extras for your project, The Logo Factory will ship you a custom CD along with your copyright transfer documents.

Design Restrictions

Iconic, text or illustrative logos available without restrictions. Illustrative logo may require preliminary sketches. Illustrative logos require initial sketches and approval before final rendering of illustrative elements and addition of textual elements. Presentation of illustrative sketches is considered the first round of preliminary designs.

File Formats Delivered

Full File Format bundle of your logo including print and web files. Delivered by download from your client page and CD* via Federal Express. (USA & Canadian clients only – International clients subject to S/H charge).

Copyright Transfer

Included. Legal transfer of ownership rights to logo artwork, icon and/or illustration applies only to finalized design. Other unselected ‘work product’ design material remains the copyright and property of The Logo Factory Inc. You may purchase additional design preliminaries (includes copyright transfer and basic file formats) for $150.00 per design.

File formats included

EPS (Encapsulated Postscript) files

The EPS vector based source files of any design by The Logo Factory. This is a editable and scalable version of your new logo from which anyone can create all other formats and image types. This file is generally the format used by quality printers. For color matching accuracy of spot color logos, we use the Pantone Matching System (PMS). For print color reference, Pantone Color Guides are available at better local printers. See here for tips on working with a printer.
Resolution: Unlimited.

JPG & PNG files

The JPG image format is an Industry standard for the distribution of high-quality images, while still remaining small enough in file size for bandwidth and download speed concerns. Can be either CMYK or RGB. Supplied in multiple resolutions – 300 DPI (print production and/or special FX) to 72 DPI (web site and other electronic reproduction). Resolution – Varied. 300 dpi (PX) Print, 72 dpi (PX) for electronic. PNG files can feature transparent backgrounds and can be placed on colored backgrounds.

GIF files

These relatively low resolution files (72 DPI) are almost exclusively for web site usage. A .GIF image can feature transparent backgrounds for use on different color web pages. If your logo colors and/or treatment cannot be rendered accurately using the limited color palette of the .GIF format, your designer will supply .JPG alternatives. Resolution: 72 dpi (PX).

Black & white grayscale

A black and white grayscale version of your logo is a version that is made up of tones which are in turn made up from varying sizes of black dots. A grayscale version of your logo is suitable for BW print reproduction, resolution permitting. This version of your logo will be supplied in grayscale vector and black & white bitmap formats.

Black & white linear

A black and white linear version of your logo is a version that is made up of solid black. There are no half-tones (screens) or grays. This is the best type of logo for use on low-resolution reproduction. This version of your logo will be supplied in vector and bitmap formats.

Stationery formats included

Print-Ready Imposition of your stationery set up (letterhead design, up to 4 business cards and envelope) for offset printing (Pantone or CMYK colors). Includes letterhead, business card and envelope. All Stationery Design packages are supplied as print ready impositions (EPS) with outlined fonts for maximum printer compatibility. Additional files available – PDF version of your letterhead for internal use. May require some alteration from print-ready versions.

Platinum package includes Flash Logo Lick animation

Imagine your new logo spinning, flying and forming from a series of disparate shapes into its completed form. Imagine that animation greeting your web site visitors, or appearing on all your office monitors. That, in a nutshell, would be a Flash Logo Lick. And like all our design services – getting a flash animation of your logo is simple. Simply submit your project, our designers will get to work, and you’ll be able to login to our Factory Floor client area to see the work as it progresses.

Flash animation files & formats supplied

Platinum bundles include the development of a Flash Logo Lick of your new logo and includes the following:

Flash Source File (FLA). Requires Adobe’s Flash MX (minimum version) to edit. File will also contain outlined fonts (for system compatibility) as well as any additional movie assets such as motion blur images, photographs, etc. Any stock photography used in your animation may be subject to separate licensing terms and conditions.

Playable Flash Animation (SWF). The actual Flash animation media file. Will play in any browser with Flash player installed as well as locally on your computer. This is the file that you’ll add to your website for viewing by your site visitors.

HTML Document(s). If your animation includes motion blurs or other Pixel based special FX, the scalability of the movie is limited. Accordingly, and to preserve animation integrity, we’ll also send you the appropriate HTML documents with correct scaling and aspect ratio embedded into the HTML code. Note: Flash Logo Lick is delivered as per our standard Flash pricing schedules.

Over the past few years we ‘bundled’ logo design packages with some of our other services. While many clients liked this feature, others found it restrictive as they sometimes didn’t want, or need, the particular extra that was included. That’s why we’ve changed our some of our bundled ‘extras’ to included design credits that you can use towards ANY of our design services that you choose – be it web. Flash animation, brochure or illustration.

Design Credit Terms

Design Credits have no cash value and can only be utilized towards a design project by The Logo Factory as a ‘retainer’ on new design project or as a credit that can be subtracted from the total charges of a NEW design project. Any hourly credit must be used within 1(one) year of client receipt of final logo design files. Please note – due to copyright and ownership protocols, any remaining balance of project must be paid before any additional work, project or design containing finalized logo can be initiated, including additional design work that is included in the package ordered. Our Platinum logo bundle requires submission of client brief and payment of $1250.00 (50% retainer) before your project can be scheduled in our production department.
