Playing cards and a hidden design element make up this casino themed logo

Swoll Your Roll
About:
Logo design for Swoll Your Roll – a gambling, poker and casino forum.
Project notes:
Swoll Your Roll is a poker forum that is affiliated with numerous poker and casino sites allowing members to ‘rake back’ a percentage of winnings; in addition. The casino forum also offers a pro-moderated chat, poker and casino tutorials, tech support and an on-line store.
Fairly typical design for a casino or poker site (except for the two elevens – symbolic of the value of aces – hidden in the two Ls in Swoll). Graphic features ubiquitous images – poker chips, playing cards and a Las Vegas style script font. This logo needed to be fairly adaptable – main use on the forum website but with T shirts and other marketing material planned. To accomplish this, our designers developed several versions of the design, each with a unique logo design aspect ratio. In certain instances, the design needed to fit a horizontal aspect ratio, while certain products and advertising uses needed a more vertical version. Client wanted to stay away from some of the seedier aspects of the casino industry, and requested a high-key design treatment. The two color final version (above) is the version that is featured on the site’s homepage. A stripped down version, with the playing cards and graphic elements removed, was created for the website banner and header artwork. At time of writing, we also feature a free casino logo in our Morgue Files.
