About: A logo design for Winning Edge Enterprises – Website consulting and design company.

Logo Brief: Winning Edge were looking for an icon that represented a ‘winning edge’. Other buzzwords included “competitive”, “advantage” “streamlined”. The client was fairly specific in their original design brief. Requesting an iconic logo to the left of the words “Winning Edge”, with the word “Enterprises” in smaller text beneath. The entire design was to be formatted in landscape mode versus portrait. The client also wanted a large W capital letter to represent the final brand.

There were some technical caveats too. The final logo needed to be artwork that could easily be reproduced in a variety of sizes on paper and on a website. As far as the colors for the project went 0- here’s what the client had to say; “The logo should be a bit conservative and convey a professional image… but not be boring. 2 or 3 colors is acceptable if you think it will work”.
