About: Logo design for an upscale real estate developer.

Logo Brief: In order to appeal to their market segment, Bella Vista Luxury Homes opted for a fairly literal translation of their name (Beautiful View) complete with a sprawling landscape as seen from the inside of high-end house. As real estate (and developer) logos need to be applicable in a wide range of media, this design – despite appearances to the contrary – is actually fairly simple from a technical point of view. It’s created, like all our logos, in vector based Illustrator, so that we won’t have any issues scaling it up for large-format signage (or vinyl plotter application). The color scheme selected uses earth tones and warm hues for the obvious reasons just outlined. The script font is detachable from the logo fonts as a ’stand-alone’ element and can be used when the aspect ratio of the available space doesn’t allow for the full design.
