About: Logo design for Mortgage Docs – an America-wide signing service consisting of a nationwide network of notary publics available for assistance on real estate purchases and loans.

Logo Brief: Mortgage Docs were looking for a corporate identity design that had a clean, professional, ‘leader in the field’ feel that needs to be associated with the financial and real estate industries. As well as a logo makeover, the company’s plans also involved a redesign of their website around the new logo’s colors and design. The logo was then to be integrated into future letterhead, envelopes, business cards, and brochure designs as part of an ongoing marketing expansion. Our designers chose a text and simple icon theme for the new workup, combined with a fairly conservative color scheme. While illustrative logos are appropriate in many instances, traditionally conservative institutions such as banks, real estate brokers generally choose an iconic approach. These logos are generally less ‘trendy’ and often evoke a feeling of trust and stability while also being available for the widest range of reproduction technology. These kind of brands also tend to have higher ‘recognition’ factor.
