Logo Brief: “Our main mission to to set young chiropractic graduates up in their own practices and to help them achieve the practice/lifestyle that they desire. We will be primarily marketing to and dealing with young (mid 20′s) new graduate chiropractors and doctors. We wish to portray an image of stability and rapid success. Our image should be progressive and appeal to the intellect.”
Naturally, and almost by default, the usual business logo for a chiropractor and/or related services contains a human spine. It’s usually what the client wants, and it’s usually what will identity the service to their clients. However, there’s very few things that are as unromantic (graphically speaking) as a spine, so every logo for a chiropractor was to be handled uniquely, with an eye on graphics, with as little ‘woo-hoo’ treatment as possible. Even though Walton Chiropractic Systems were looking for a ‘progressive image’, we’re still dealing with the medical profession and as such a certain graphic restraint is usually called for. The logo for Walton Chiropractic still featured a spine, but the design was elegant and sophisticated enough to stand alone as an icon. A simple font (Industrial) was selected for ease of legibility.
