About: A logo design for Trinity Analysis & Development (Corporation) – Trinity Analysis and Development Corp. is a small engineering company providing design, analysis, simulation and manufacturing services to the US Department of Defense, the aerospace industry as well as commercial clients.

Logo Brief: This is a project that ended up quite differently than it began (as is often the case). Trinity wanted a conservative logo, one that appealed to a conservative clientele (the US Department of Defense for example) and one that signified their core business – engineering and development. Trinity wanted to develop a shield logo, with typical security logo iconology – swords, eagles, etc. After a few rounds of revisions and edits, it was decided that what the client really needed was an icon that, rather than describing their market, more described what they did. The Logo Factory designers began work with several images, before settling on a cog, with was then rendered into 3D. In order to give the impression of movement and deconstruction, several accent lines were added. These lines were kept subtle, as not to interfere with the logo itself. A custom logo font was worked up, but was kept blocky enough to work within the industrial theme behind the brand.

We’ve also included a snapshot of the Vector format version of the logo (with the cog ‘filled) so that you can see how The Logo Factory develops our client designs. VECTOR logos are scalable (can be enlarged or reduced in size without any image degradation) and their compatibility with a myriad of media make these logo formats infinitely more suitable for proper brand management. Many ‘Logo Creator Software’ sites and software only create PIXEL versions of any logo, so your use of material purchased through these services is severely hampered. Also, you will almost certainly pay for ‘logo repair’ on these non-vector (Pixel format) files in order to create the required VECTOR file down the road. VECTOR files are standard issue with all logo design packages purchased through The Logo Factory.
