About: Concept renders and graphics originally intended for a Canadian travel agency logo depicting a company that specialized in tours to the Caribbean. Nicely handled illustrations of a sun-set beach with swaying palm trees and a lone figure in the water. The idea was tossed as being 'too dark' - it probably is - and we ended up with a sun wearing a happy face or something. Sigh. |

Software used: Adobe Illustrator
Number of Colors: 4 color process
Elements: Cartoon, Rocket, Animation.

About: Artwork from an internal project for our Flash animation department. These illustrations were developed for a nifty little rocket animation (that's why there are graphics for 6 different angles of the rocket - 3 shown - in the file). While not exactly a Morgue File (the animation is still around - you can view it on one of our websites) , the rocket itself was never used on anything else and we figure if you can use it, fair enough - it's yours. |

Morgue Code: TLFM-403
Type of artwork: Logo
Variations: 2
Software used: Adobe Illustrator
Number of Colors: 2 spot color
Elements: Lighbulb.
Available as: PDF EPS
|
About: One of the original logo ideas that was brought to the presentation stage, as per client request, only to be discarded as being too 'stereotypical'. This logo was for a manufacturing company in Hong Kong and the client wanted to illustrate that they were an 'idea' company. And what better way to illustrate this than with a light bulb? Alas, there's a cazillion light bulbs out there, and this graphic was rightfully tossed. |

Morgue Code: TLFM-404
Type of artwork: Logo
Variations: 1
Software used: Adobe Illustrator
Number of Colors: 2 spot color
Elements: Swirl.
Available as: PDF EPS
|
About: This icon was developed as part of a project for a networking computer company but was self-nixed before presentation to the client as being too 'generic'. Even at the studio, we can't hit every project 'out of the park' on first go round. The swirl theme of these graphics are still pretty nifty, if you're in the market. |
