About: Part of a series of casino logo icons (3 included) for a casino and gaming supply company. The project brief originally called for an icon that would also be appropriate for later use as hotel logos, and to fit in with future expansion plans of the client. Our designers ran with that idea and created this 'star-studded' illustrative workup (they saw the logo as gala opening night theme) while avoiding more stereotypical Casino-type business graphics. This project was later abandoned and the artwork remained unseen. Until now.

About: Originally created as a preliminary design during a bank logo workup, this icon was later discarded as being too similar to already established companies and businesses in similar markets. It remains a well executed iconic treatment of a lion, with the simple linear treatment making this design extremely versatile and adaptable. The font treatment (University Roman) and the monotone color scheme are but suggestions.

About: If you ever wanted to start up an interplanetary battle fleet, suppose this would be the icon you'd have on your sleeve. Not sure were this icon came from (as far as we can tell it was never part of a logo development project for any business on file) and no-one at our design studio is fessing up. Lessee - globe? Check. Swoosh? Check. Stylized wings? Check. Okay, we're all set - let's take over the Universe.

About: Even when, as is rarely the case, projects go off the rails, we still end up with nifty icon design that remains cool and all. We're just not terribly sure what they mean.
