Logo & web design projectThis logo design was part of a larger re-branding project that involved developing the mark into a 'look and feel' that could be ported onto a new website that we'd also go on to develop.
The client wanted a simple, corporate design that reflected their core business set-up, a three-part shipping cost analysis and tracking website. The logo was developed to convey the interactivity of the three software components. Website designWhen developing a website, our designers will often start with simple grayscale mockups, or wireframes, so that we can map out site functions, navigation and hierarchy.
Once the wireframe set-up is finalized, we can then begin to add simple color blocks and decide visual focus points. In this project, we stuck with the client's corporate colors - orange and blue, throughout.
Once the simple color blocks have been finalized, we can then start adding visual components and graphics. By keeping in mind site and HTML structure, we can develop accurate mockups that can be converted to a working website.
After the final website page layouts have been approved, we can set up the various site sections and pages, we can begin populating the website with content, client-supplied graphics and as in this case, Flash animation accents and movies. Final site screenshots below.
